I think Project Cars and its sequel (soon to be sequels) are a little too hardcore to be an entrance point, but they are good at what they do. F1 2018 free as an offer in the Humble Bundle Store. I know some people are high on Forza, but I haven't played any of the games and thus can't speak of their quality. Definitely check out if you already have one. They focus on rally style racing which is quite different from traditional racing. I'd suggest trying those out if you like the previous racing games. I'd imagine you'd have a Dirt Rally game (Dirt rally 1 has been given away before). Yeah but the worst part is that they arent in all regions, unlike PC games. There are a few Humble Bundle deals here and there that had PSN games (first one was a Capcom bundle, second one was THQ-Nordic, third one was 2k games iirc), but most of those have been PC as well. I don't think those are the best racing games to start out with personally, but they are definitely great quality and are by no means a bad place to begin. 2018 is by no means bad, but the improvements made between the two make enough reason to choose the newer (and you already have both, presumably 2019 from the Humble March Choice). I'd say to go with F1 2019 instead of 2018.
